A case of lymphangioma of the tonsil

Abstract
|
|
|
The lymphangioma of the tonsil is one of the very rare benign tumors. New and Childrey(1931)found sixty-three benign tumors of the tonsils during a study of 357 cases having tumors of the tonsils and pharynx.
Fifty-five per cent (35 cases) were papilloma and lymphangioma was I cases.
Recently studied a lymphangioma of the tonsil and we reported a case.
A 14 year old male was admitted to the Red Cross Hospital under diagnosis of pendular tonsil, bilateral tonsillectomy was performed under local anesthesia
Pathologic finding was reported a lymphangioma of tonsil.
